2017 KEYNOTE ADDRESSES
Paisley Currah will be joining us on the morning of May 28th in a keynote address shared with the Sexualities Studies Association entitled: “Neoliberal futures, cultural backlashes, and the politics of sex classification.”
On May 29th, Homa Hoodfar will give a morning keynote interview on social justice scholarship in challenging contexts.
Also on May 29th at 3 pm, Britteny Cooper will be presenting our WGSRF international keynote focusing on the long history and central role of Black feminist intellectual leadership in contemporary scholarly and popular critical political thought.
In addition, the Fat Studies mini-conference will be holding its own keynote panel with Idil Abdillahi, Jill Andrew, Carla Rice and Jake Pyne, who will be providing an intersectional analysis of Fat Studies as a critical project on May 30th.
